Our History
Dentoni began in 1960 when John F. Dentoni Jr. and his son, David Dentoni Sr., opened Dentoni’s Welding Works in Stockton, California. From the beginning, the business focused on solving real-world problems for customers in the trucking, agricultural, and heavy equipment industries through skilled welding and custom fabrication.
Early work included boat trailers, truck racks, agricultural equipment, and purpose-built solutions, forming the foundation for Dentoni’s expansion into truck and trailer repair, trailer manufacturing, and fleet service across Northern California.
As the company grew, Dentoni developed into a full-service provider of heavy-duty truck repair, trailer service, mobile repair, parts distribution, and custom fabrication. These capabilities allowed the company to support commercial fleets, municipalities, contractors, and industrial operations with practical, long-term solutions.
Today, under third-generation leadership, Dentoni continues to build on more than 60 years of experience in truck and trailer repair, manufacturing, and field service. While the company has grown into a network of specialized operations, the focus remains the same, deliver reliable service, solve complex problems, and keep customer equipment working.
